WHEN IT COMES TO DEFENDING THE CONSTITUTION, I BELIEVE IN THE FOLLOWING CORE PRINCIPLES -
The Constitution is not a living, breathing document. It is a set of rights that are enumerated and limited.
Unfortunately, in recent years, we have seen our Constitution trampled on, taken advantage of, and grossly misapplied for political convenience. This must be stopped.
As your Member of Congress, I took an oath to defend the Constitution and the civil liberties enshrined within it. These liberties include the right to bear arms, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and the right to due process.
I will continue the fight to limit the power and scope of the federal government and return power and responsibility to the greatest repository of such rights, the American citizen.
