Lakeland, Fl, Aug 23, 2012 - Today, Congressman Dennis Ross was honored with the "Congressman Dennis Ross Honored with the "Standing Up for Seniors Award" by the national seniors advocacy organization, RetireSafe.

RetireSafe is a grassroots organization that advocates and educates on behalf of America's seniors on issues regarding Social Security, Medicare, health and financial well being. RetireSafe expects its government to keep its promises, protect our nation, and maintain the safety and personal freedoms of its citizens.

Upon receiving this honor, Congressman Ross said, "I firmly believe we can protect the retirement security of current retirees and those near retirement, and reform the system to ensure my generation and my children's generation, enjoy security in their retirement as well.  I am humled and honored to receive this award and will always protect the promises we have made to our seniors."
