It is one of the highest honors I have as a Member of Congress to assist deserving constituents in seeking appointment to a United States Service Academy. We, as a nation, are blessed to have dedicated patriots, willing to answer the call to service. From the first patriots who answered the call at Bunker Hill to those who stand guard today in the mountains of Afghanistan, millions of your fellow Americans, past and present, salute your willingness to serve.
To maintain the integrity of the process and ensure that no political, personal, or non-military judgments enter the nomination process, I have appointed an advisory board of former officers, enlisted men and women, and civilians to interview, assess, and recommend for appointment. This board is chaired by Col. Gary Clark (USAF Ret.), Chairman of the Polk County Veterans Council.
To begin the process, please download the application by clicking here. The application has all of the information needed. If you have questions, please contact my District Offices at (863) 644-8215 (Polk County), (813) 752-4790 (Hillsborough County), or (352) 727-2248 (Lake County).
UPDATE: APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR THE 2019 SCHOOL YEAR NOMINATION IS NOW OCTOBER 5, 2018.
Stay Tuned for Information on the Next Service Academy Information Day:
Info: Representatives from each of the U.S. Service Academies will be on hand to speak with students and parents about the Academy experience and application process.
