U.S. Rep. Dennis Ross (FL-15) voted in support of H.Res. 567, Providing for the Establishment of the Select Committee on the Events Surrounding the 2012 Terrorist Attack in Benghazi. His statement is below:
“Today, I voted for the creation of a select committee to investigate the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi in 2012. This isn’t a partisan issue. This is an American issue. Four of our own were killed in an attack overseas. That fact alone demands transparency and answers. We must all work together to fully understand what happened and how we can prevent a tragedy like this from occurring in the future.”
