WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Dennis Ross (R-FL-15), who was recently selected as Majority Deputy Whip and a member of the House Committee on Financial Services, released the following statement after being ranked 4th highest by the National Taxpayers Union Foundation (NTUF) in terms of cutting the largest amount of government spending.

“I feel my duty as your Congressman is to oppose big government and stand for taxpayers. Floridians and all Americans deserve to bring home more of their money; I will continue to work hard on your behalf and eliminate wasteful spending. Like so many Americans have already had to do, Congress must begin to do more with less.”

NTUF revealed their report for the First Session of the 113th congress that analyzes the fiscal impact of Members’ legislative agendas by cross-referencing their database of scored bills with each Senator and Representative’s sponsorship and co-sponsorship records.
